TWO men have died after after motorbike crashed in Newton Heath yesterday.

Police were called to a report of a one-vehicle collision involving a motorbike on Oldham Road around 5am on Sunday.

Emergency services attended, and two men, aged 20 and 28, died at the scene.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.

PC Phil Collingwood, of Greater Manchester Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "This is a devastating incident in which two young men have sadly lost their lives and our thoughts remain with their family and friends at this extremely difficult time.

"An investigation is under way into the circumstances leading up to the crash - anybody with information or dashcam footage of this collision is asked to call police on 0161 856 4741 quoting log 0730 of 25/07/21."
