TWO men who died after a motorbike crash in Newton Heath yesterday morning have been named.

Police were called to Oldham Road just after 5am on Sunday to reports of a single vehicle collision involving a motorbike.

Emergency services attended, and despite the best work of paramedics, two men died at the scene.

The two men have been named as 28-year old Jordan Slack and 20-year-old Ben Gallagher.

Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with this collision.

But officers are urging witnesses or anyone who may have dashcam footage to come forward.

"An investigation is under way into the circumstances leading up to the crash - anybody with information or dashcam footage of this collision is asked to call police on 0161 856 4741 quoting log 0730 of 25/07/21."
