GREATER Manchester Fire and Rescue Service is recruiting.
Aspiring firefighters are being invited to express their interest.
Those who have expressed their interest will then have the opportunity to apply for a taster day.
Candidates attending a taster day will be given the chance to experience what it is like to be a firefighter, meet some firefighters and undertake some role-related tests, which will allow participants to gain awareness of the physical fitness requirements and the more functional skills required to progress in the process of this role.
