A THIRD man has been arrested after Oldham Council leader Cllr Arooj Shah's car was set on fire in Glodwick two months ago.
Police were called to Greengate Street at around 1.30am on Tuesday, July 13 to a report that a car was ablaze, with a probe finding the fire had been started deliberately.
No-one was injured in the fire but damage was caused to a neighbouring property.
Following the incident, two men aged 23 and 22 were arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and were bailed pending conditions.
And on Friday, police said a 21-year-old man was arrested for the same accusation on Thursday and has been released pending further enquiries.
