An woman has been banned from the roads after admitting drink driving in Oldham.
Shauna Duffy pleaded guilty to the offence during a recent appearance at Tameside Magistrates’ Court.
The 24-year-old admitted she was behind the wheel of a BMW on Roundthorne Road in Oldham when she had 54 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35.
The offence took place in August this year.
Following her plea the woman from Eason Way in Ashton Under Lyne was banned from the roads for 12 months.
Duffy has the chance to reduce this by 12 weeks if she completes a course.
She was also fined £120.
