A MAN in his twenties has been taken to hospital after a crash last night involving a car and a motorbike at Oldham Road junction with Chapel Road, Uppermill.
The rider of the motorbike was taken to hospital by the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) but was not seriously injured in the crash.
A spokesperson from the NWAS said: “We’ve responded to a road traffic accident involving a car and a motorbike. The rider, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital, although he wasn’t seriously injured.”
At 8.20pm last night GMP Saddleworth & Lees took to Facebook to warn drivers that the crash had caused “slight delays”.
The post read: “Officers are dealing with a road traffic collision at Oldham Road junction with Chapel Road Uppermill please pass carefully may be slight delays”.
