A FUNFAIR and fireworks night will be hosted at a Lancashire football club in November.

Accrington Stanley, in partnership with HML Recycling, have announced the return of the Children’s Funfair & Community Fireworks Event at the Wham Stadium, taking place on Sunday, November 7.

Gates will open at 5pm, with the main firework display starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets are on sale now and are priced at just £4 for adults and concessions and £2 for U16s.

Tickets can be purchased either by phone on 01254 356950 – Option 1, or in person at the clubs retail shop.

Ticket prices will increase on the night, so the club are urging people to buy early to take advantage of the 'early bird' discount.

On the night, ticket prices will rise to £5.00 for adults and £3.00 for concessions and under-16s.

Standing tickets can be purchased for the Farleys Solicitors Stand at the Clayton End or unreserved seating tickets for either the HML Recycling Jack Barrett Main Stand or the Studio.co.uk Eric Whalley Stand.

For safety purposes, those bringing pushchairs or prams should purchase tickets in the seated stands.

With a bar and live music in the Fanzone Marquee, along with a children's funfair and 20-minute firework display, Stanley are looking to make this the areas largest Guy Fawkes celebration and the safest Community Event for family and friends to attend.

By using the stands as an ideal viewing point for both adults and children, the firework display will be held at the Coppice End of the stadium, making it a safe distance for everyone to enjoy.

Magical Fireworks will provide the fantastic professional display along with a funfair provided by John Collins Funfairs.

The club are keen note that the ticket price is for admission into the stadium to watch the display, not for the funfair rides.

The Clayton End kiosks will be open throughout for refreshments.
