A WOMAN was talked down from a bridge in Chadderton in the early hours of this morning.
Police were sent to Block Lane at around 3.15am after a report of concern for the welfare of a woman was made.
Officers spoke with the woman before she was led away safely and taken to hospital.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "We were called to Block Lane, Chadderton, at around 3.15am this morning (17 September) to a report of concern for the welfare of a woman.
"Officers engaged with the woman and she was later taken to hospital for appropriate care and support."
