Oldham police have revealed details of the incidents they responded to on a shift recently.
The GMP unit has said it responded to five incidents one evening this week.
Officers were first called to Chadderton following concerns about a woman’s welfare.
The fire service also attended and the woman was taken back to a mental health ward for specialist care.
Police then attended elsewhere in Chadderton where a man had reported that two people were using his flat to use drugs.
The man was found and efforts will be made to rehome him.
Officers then helped returns a missing old woman to her family in Oldham.
She was found in Warrington and necessary safeguarding will be put in place.
Police then went to Greenfield after a van and a child pedestrian collided.
The youngster did not require hospital treatment and a report was filed into the incident.
Officers subsequently went to a serious assault in Shaw where a man’s window was smashed and he was later attacked.
He was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
