A MAN who stole toiletries and assaulted two police officers has been jailed.
Daniel Alan Barnett, of no fixed address, stole the items from Boots in Oldham to the value of £127.10 on September 2.
On the same date, the 44-year-old assaulted two police officers in the town, Bolton Magistrates' Court was told.
The court found that Barnett acted in a racially aggravated way as well on that day.
By entering Boots, he also breached a criminal behaviour order which has been made against him in April.
Barnett, who pleaded guilty to the charges, was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison and was ordered to pay £120 in costs and a £128 victim service surcharge.
