A MAN and a woman have been charged after a "converted firearm", ammunition and cocaine was found at a home.
On the morning of Thursday, November 18, officers searched an address in the Bishop Close area of Ashton.
During a search, a converted firearm and ammunition was found along with an amount of the class A drug cocaine.
Daniel Goddard, 30, of Bishop Close, has been charged with possession of a firearm without certificate, possession of a firearm when prohibited, possession of ammunition, acquiring using or possessing criminal property, and possession with intent to supply cocaine.
Taylor Davies, 23, also of Bishop Close, has been charged with possession of a firearm without certificate, possession of ammunition, acquiring using or possessing criminal property, and possession with intent to supply cocaine.
Both have been remanded into custody to appear at Tameside Magistrates' Court this morning, Thursday.
