A man was taken to hospital after a two-vehicle car crash occurred on Copster Hill Road on Wednesday evening.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At around 8pm on Wednesday 1st December, one fire engine from Hollins fire station was called to reports of a road traffic collision on Copster Hill Road, Oldham, involving two cars.”

“The crew arrived quickly at the scene, and firefighters worked to make both vehicles safe. One person was taken to hospital. Firefighters were in attendance for around thirty minutes.”

It follows another crash in Oldham on Tuesday evening that also saw one person taken to hospital.

The conditions of both people who were taken to hospital are unknown at this point.

Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for a response.
