A COURT has ordered a man whose music caused a nuisance to his neighbours to surrender his sound system to the council.
Hamza Javed, of Boston Street, was served with an abatement notice for the noise by Oldham Council in October of last year.
A matter of days after the notice, the 32-year-old breached it by playing music so loud it caused nuisance to his neighbours not once, but twice.

He appeared at Tameside Magistrates' Court charged with the two breaches of an abatement notice on Monday, February 14.
After admitting the offences, Javed was ordered to surrender his sound system, with a Sony control centre worth £50 and three sets of speakers.
He was also given a conditional discharge and ordered to pay a total of £322 in costs.
