The Toby Carvery based in Oldham is set to temporarily close as the building undergoes external and internal works.

The restaurant, found on Burnley Lane in Chadderton, will close later on May 23 for a few weeks as it is refurbished.

External work to the building already started on Tuesday, May 3 and the restaurant will remain open while the works to the outside are carried out.

The refurbishment will see the carvery have a "new-and-improved look" when it is reopened.

In a post made on social media, the restaurant said they had begun with the external work first in order to minimise the amount of time it would be closed.

Sunday, May 22 will be the last day the restaurant is open before it closes for a few weeks.

A reopening date has not yet ben confirmed.
