A MAN has been charged after raids at addresses in Tameside and Trafford.
Officers from the Greater Manchester Police Challenger Team swept in on a number of properties in Altrincham, Ashton-under-Lyne and Openshaw on Wednesday.
As a result of the raids, Joseph McCormick, of Stamford Road Central in Ashton-under-Lyne, was arrested on suspicion of multiple drug offences.
He has since appeared at Manchester Magistrates' Court accused of two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs, one count of failure to comply with a serious crime prevention order and one count of possession of criminal property.
These offences are alleged to have happened between March 2020 and May 2022.
McCormick, 40, remains in custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court on May 26.
