Oldham is on track for a scorching weekend according to the Met Office with this year’s first spell of hot weather coming in.
Hot air from the continent means Oldhamers can enjoy temperatures between 28 and 30C towards the end of this week.
While Tuesday brings partial sun and temperatures of 18C in Oldham, Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be cloudy but warmer in the region of around 20C.
It will mostly be dry with sunny spells for most of the week.

However, Friday could see temperatures of around 30C in the south of the UK, or 26C here in Oldham.
The sudden climb in temperature means the Met Office has issued a heatwave warning for the UK.
The heatwave threshold is met when there are at least three consecutive days where daily temperatures meet or exceed the heatwave temperature threshold.
Unfortunately, the heatwave won’t be with us for very long as milder conditions lurk for Sunday onwards when cooler air starts to push across the country again.
Still, the temperatures are promising for June as the Met Office said it is unusual for temperatures to reach the mid 30C’s at this time of year.
The highest recorded June temperatures since records began in 1884 was June 28, 1976 when 35.6C was reached at Southampton Mayflower Park.
The highest temperature reached in the UK so far in 2022 is 27.5C at Heathrow, recorded on May 17.
Met Office Deputy Chief Meteorologist, Dan Rudman, said: “Temperatures will rise through the week, becoming well above-average by day by Friday when many parts of the southern half of the UK are likely to reach 30C or even 33C in isolated spots.
“This is the first spell of hot weather this year and it is still unusual for temperature to exceed these values in June.
"Many areas will also see some warm nights with temperatures expected to be in the mid to high teens overnight.”
