A motorbike stolen from an address in Oldham was discovered in some bushes only a short distance away, police said.
The bike was stolen from an address on Broadbent Road over the weekend on June 26.
But according to a post on social media by GMP Oldham Central on June 30, it was discovered in some bushes not far from this road.
It will be checked over for forensic evidence before it is returned to its owner, the post said, earning a grateful response from residents.
One commented: "I am so happy it's been found."
