A drugs warrant carried out by Greater Manchester Police revealed dozens of cannabis plants were being maintained at an address in Shaw.
GMP Royton and Shaw executed a drugs warrant to investigate a property in the Milnrow Road area.
The team were called out early in the morning on Friday (July 1) to carry out their investigation.
Photographs of the premises appear to show dozens of cannabis plants being kept in a large room.
Police have since detained one man and taken him to custody in connection with the drugs.
The cannabis plants appear to have been seized by GMP as photographs show 'before and after' at the premises.
In a post online, GMP Royton and Shaw said: “Good news.
“Drugs warrant executed this morning in the Milnrow Road area of Shaw.
“One male was detained and taken to custody”.
