A blaze ripped through a house in Oldham in the early hours of this morning (July 26).
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) were called to Derby Street in Werneth at around 1am.
Three crews from stations in Oldham, Hollins and Chadderton attended the scene and extinguished the blaze.
An investigation is ongoing into the cause of the fire.
A spokesperson for GMFRS said: “At approximately 1am on July 26, firefighters were called out to a fire at a house on Derby Street in Oldham.
“Three fire engines from Oldham, Hollins and Chadderton attended the scene and used hose reels and breathing apparatus to extinguish a fire on the ground floor of the building.
"An investigation into the cause of the fire is now being carried out."
