A van has been seized and the driver arrested in Oldham on suspicion of committing a series of driving offences, including drug driving.
On Wednesday, July 26, Greater Manchester Police used pre-emptive tactics to stop a van driver travelling on Oldham Road in Failsworth and avoid a pursuit.
The Ford van was found to be on cloned registration plates and the driver was drug tested and questioned.
Police have said the driver was found to be driving under the influence of drugs while also travelling on an expired drivers' licence and without any insurance.
The driver was arrested and the vehicle was seized by police.
