A ‘knife was drawn’ on members of staff at an Aldi supermarket after two men allegedly tried to steal a bag full of items.
Lancashire Police is looking to speak with two men about an attempted robbery at Aldi on Active Way in Burnley.
Police say they were called at around 9.50pm on Saturday, July 16, after two men had entered the shop and reportedly filled a plastic bag with a large amount of stock before leaving.
After being challenged in the car park, one of the suspects allegedly pulled out a sharp object and 'threatened to stab staff members'.
A spokesperson for the police said: “Following CCTV enquiries, we would like to speak to these men as we believe they can assist with our investigation.”
Police ask if you know who the men are, to contact 101, quoting the log number 1558 of the July 16 or email 5552@lancashire.police.uk
