A police van crashed into a bus stop post while on route to attend to an incident in Chadderton.
The Greater Manchester Police vehicle was involved in the collision on Lansdowne Road at around 1.15pm on Friday.
No-one was seriously injured following the incident.
A photograph shared by Facebook group Spotted Oldham showed the aftermath of the crash.
The vehicle appeared to have been dented at the front and the headlights look to have been damaged too.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “At around 1.15pm on Friday we received a report of a police vehicle accident on Lansdowne Road, Oldham, after officers were on their way responding to a separate incident.
“There were no serious injuries reported at the scene.”
