Drag story hour has been confirmed to return to Oldham Library, with extra security in place.
Reverend David Austin, who serves as the chair of Oldham Pride, asked the library service when they would next host a drag queen story hour, following the cancellation of the Rochdale event.
The event will take place in October half term, with families able to book tickets online.
Oldham Libraries will be employing extra security on site for the event, after homophobic protests led to the cancellation of a similar event in Rochdale earlier this month.
In 2020, Mama G held a series of virtual story times, which can be found on the Oldham Libraries Facebook page.
