Van thief had no licence
A MAN stole a VW Crafter van and drove it without a licence or insurance on Croft Lane, Bolton, on June 24.
At Wigan Magistrates’ Court Daniel Gaffner, aged 43, of Chadwick Street, Bolton, pleaded guilty to committing the offences and was sentenced to a conditional discharge for 16 months.
Gaffner was also banned from applying for a driving licence for 12 months and ordered to pay £111 in costs and charges.
