A memorial service is set to be held to mark the 10-year anniversary of the deaths of Saddleworth native PC Nicola Hughes and PC Fiona Bone.
Greater Manchester Police have said a memorial service will be held in Tameside on Sunday, September 18 to mark the anniversary of the murders of the two PCs.
PC Hughes, from Diggle, and PC Bone were killed by Dale Cregan in Mottram in Longdendale in Tameside after a false report of a burglary on September 18, 2012.
Cregan was sentenced to life in prison in June 2013 for the fatal gun and grenade attack.
The memorial service will start at 10.20am and last roughly one hour, causing a temporary road closure on Clarendon Road at the junction of Park Lane and Repton Avenue, meaning there will be no access beyond Hyde Police Station.
