Oldham Council has appealed to the public for information after asbestos was dumped on a key Oldham road earlier this month.
At around 12.30pm on Sunday, September 18, the asbestos was found in Royton, near the junction where Oldham Road goes on to Rochdale Road, just outside The Railway pub.
The council said in a post on social media that a specialist team had to clear up the waste from the road.
Now, they are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward as they search for whoever was responsible.
The council has asked residents if they might have seen a lorry dropping the waste.
Anyone with information that could help identify the fly-tipper is urged to get in touch with the council.
