The latest most viewed properties in Oldham this month suggest buyers are on the hunt for a bargain this winter.

People interested in making the move, buying their first-ever home or who consider browsing properties a serious pastime flock to the property website to see what's out there, and Zoopla records the homes with the most hits every 30 days.

As of October this year, Zoopla said the average house price for Oldham was £171,900, but its most recent top four commonly viewed listings all fall significantly below this figure, suggesting many are on the hunt for a bargain.

So here are the top four most viewed properties in Oldham within the last month, according to Zoopla.

Two-bed end terrace house, Redgrave Street, £65,000

Unsurprisingly, the most viewed property is one of the cheapest homes available with offers starting from £65,000 for this two-bed end terrace home.

The home is actually up for auction, but judging from the photographs, it doesn’t need that much work doing to it.

It has two reasonably sized bedrooms, a bathroom with bath and shower and even a split-level courtyard at the back.

Three-bed semi-detached, Poplar Avenue, £150,000

Coming in at second place and as the most expensive on the list is this three-bed semi-detached home situated in Hollins.

The listing says the property needs “some updating” but has “excellent potential”.

Despite most of the rooms and back garden needing work, the bathroom appears fairly modern at least.

The corner plot home is comprised of an entrance hall, lounge, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms and gardens at the front, side and rear - plus a driveway for off-road parking.

Three-bed terraced house, Fairway Road, £130,000

According to Zoopla, this three-bed terraced home would make for a great investment opportunity, boasting good-sized rooms in a quiet but sought-after location.

It's cosy but ideal for families with a living room and dining space, kitchen - with understairs storage - and a three-piece bathroom.

Outside, it has a spacious rear garden to the back and a small driveway and path at the front.

Two-bed terraced house, Filbert Street, £79,995

The second cheapest on the list and coming in at the fourth most viewed property is this two-bed terraced home in Derker.

It’s been vacant for quite some time and will require some serious refurbishments - and there has already been an offer on it of £85,000 at the time of writing.

The photographs show it is in need of some TLC but it does have potential with a yard, enclosed front garden, family bathroom and spacious rooms across its two floors.
