Oldham’s MPs received nearly £18,000 in gifts and additional income this year.

According to the official Parliamentary register of financial interests, a system used by MPs to declare earnings on top of their salary, Angela Rayner received the vast majority of extra earnings and gifts.

Jim McMahon came second place with just over £500 declared, while Debbie Abrahams did not declare any gifts or extra income.

Angela Rayner (total: £17,211.39)

The MP for Ashton and Failsworth, made the most in extra income, gifts, and donations this year.

In total, the MP, who is also the Deputy leader of the Labour Party, received £17,211.39.

The largest single declared interest was a £10,000 donation from energy company Ecotricity Group Limited.

Additionally, the MP was given flights and hotel accommodation, amounting to a value of £3,500, for her October visit to Pakistan, following devastating floods in the region.

Other gifts include eleven designer dresses, gifted to her by US fashion label Adrianna Papell, worth a total of £948.

Furthermore, the Manchester United Foundation gifted tickets worth £400 to the MP to attend a charity football match, which raised more than £1.3 million for the Manchester United Foundation.

The match, played in May, was contested by figures from Manchester United and Liverpool’s past.

Jim McMahon (total: £625)

The MP for Oldham West & Royton received some earnings for completing surveys this year.

Survey companies Ipsos Mori and Savanta Comres paid him a total of £625 for declared four-and-a-half hours of work on six different occasions this year.

Debbie Abrahams (total: none)

The MP for Oldham East & Saddleworth has not yet declared any additional interests, according to official data from Parliament.uk.
