New photos show how the new Tim Hortons drive thru is coming along.

The restaurant appears nearly ready for opening, and is complete with car and cycle parking.

Temporary barriers block the entrances to the restaurant for now, but those craving some Canadian confections don’t have long to wait.

Doors will open at the Manchester Road restaurant from 7am on Monday, April 17.

Opening hours for the restaurant will be 6am until midnight seven days a week with dine-in, drive-thru, takeaway, and delivery available.

The brand will also award the first customer at the drive-thru and restaurant queue with free drinks for a whole year, worth £3,100.

The lucky winners will be able to get two medium drinks per day for a year, excluding bottled drinks.

Additionally, the Canadian restaurant brand will also give away a free breakfast meal to the first 100 customers on opening day.

The menu will feature best-selling items, including ‘Timbits,’ Iced Capps, donuts and crispy chicken sandwiches, as well as savoury food including cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and lattice fries.

The planning application for the branch, located at the former Bridgewater Hotel on Manchester Road, was approved in March 2022.

The restaurant will feature dine-in seating for up to 100 customers, and will be the seventh to open in Greater Manchester.
