CCTV images of six men have been released after an assault took place at a takeaway in last month.

On Saturday, April 22, there was an assault at a takeaway premises on Henrietta Street, Ashton-under-Lyne.

Between 7.30pm and 10pm, two men were attacked by a group of seven inside the premises.

During the alleged assault, the victims were robbed of their personal items and sustained injuries.

The injuries are not believed to be life-changing.

Greater Manchester Police are now appealing to trace the whereabouts of six men.

The force believes the men might have information about the assault and wants to talk to them.

In a post online, GMP Tameside South and West asked the general public to help identify the people in the photograph.
