Terrifying CCTV footage of the moment a woman was reportedly pulled by a man into a car in Failsworth reveals she was screaming and crying during the ordeal.

At approximately 11pm on Sunday, a woman was allegedly pulled into a dark car by a man on Valentine Street.

While Greater Manchester Police are urgently looking to find the woman to check on her welfare, doorbell footage of the terrifying incident has been circulating on social media.

In the 20-second clip, the woman screams loudly as she is approached by a man.

Under the cover of darkness, the man appears to pull or drag the woman to a car and she can be heard crying and screaming throughout the ordeal.

A car door is then shut and while the man can be seen walking to the driver's side, the woman continues to shout from inside the car.

The car then drives away.

Earlier this week, GMP issued an appeal to try to trace the woman an described the incident as "alarming".

Detective Inspector Andrew Fink of GMP Oldham CID said: "This is an alarming incident and we are working hard to trace this woman to ensure she is safe.
