A teenage girl who had fainted while completing a tough expedition was rescued by two voluntary teams from Oldham and Glossop.

At approximately 11.40am on Wednesday (September 13), Oldham Mountain Rescue Team were informed a 17-year-old girl had suffered a fainting episode while completing her Duke of Edinburgh Award expedition at Laddow Rocks near Crowden.
