A yellow warning of heavy rain and floods has been put in place in Oldham next week.
The Met Office have issued yellow weather warnings in several areas for Wednesday (December 27) next week as the country continues to face dreary weather over the Christmas period.
Oldham has already been affected by strong winds in recent days and now it will experience heavy rain between midnight and 3pm on Wednesday.
The Met Office warns the persistent heavy rain poses a flooding risk and disruption to transport.

The forecasters say flooding to a few homes and businesses is possible and bus and train services will "probably" be affected with journey times taking longer.
As for drivers, spray and flooding on roads could also present some disruption.
The Met Office also said some interruption to power supplies and other services is “likely”.
A yellow rain warning has also been put in place for the north west on Monday though it is predicted Oldham will stay dry for most of the day from 5am onwards.
