Oldhamers planning to celebrate the new year can expect a wet couple of days, with the borough set for plenty of rain.
The wet and grey weather is set to continue in Oldham with some chilly temperatures, according to the Met Office.
While much of New Year's Day will be cloudy, rain is expected in the afternoon and evening, so anyone planning to make their way to a party should make sure to take an umbrella.
As for New Year's Day, the rain will continue in the early hours, although it should be dry in the afternoon.
Temperatures across the two days are expected stay between 3⁰C and 5⁰C.
