Update: Safia has been found, GMP has confirmed.

Greater Manchester Police has appealed to the public to help find a woman from Oldham.

Safia, who was last seen in the Regent Crescent area of Failsworth, has been missing since Tuesday, January 2.

The 65-year-old was last seen between the hours of 12 noon and 1pm.

She is thought to be wearing a dark blue knee length coat with a fur hood, and to be carrying a tan or brown coloured handbag.

Safia is described as 5 ft tall of a medium build.

Anyone with information about Safia should contact police on 101 and quote 3056 2/1/2024.

“Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Safia and want to make sure she is safe and well.

“Anyone with information about Safia's whereabouts should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting log 3056. In an emergency, always dial 999.”
