A warning has been issued after a meerkat has reportedly escaped from his Stockport home.
Reddish Vale Farm has issued an urgent alert today (January 11) that one of its meerkats has seemingly made a run for it in the night.
It is believed the mischievous animal could have made it to the nearby Reddish Vale Country park and be anywhere in its 400 acres.

While the farm is hoping residents and walkers will keep a lookout for the "friendly" meerkat, they also warned he could bite - "if feeling threatened".
The full post on social media reads: "ATTENTION.
"One of our meerkats has escaped overnight.
"We believe he may have made his way on to Reddish Vale Country Park.
"If you spot him please do not approach - our meerkats are very friendly but can bite if feeling threatened."
