Oldham drivers have been warned that a key road in the borough will be closed for two nights this week so a bridge can be installed.
Oldham Council has said that Oldham Way A627 will be closed tonight (Tuesday, January 16) and tomorrow night.
Both closures will begin at 8pm before the road reopens at 5am.
The council has said that this is so Waterloo Bridge can be lowered into position.
Oldham Way will be closed between the Manchester Road roundabout and the road's junction with Prince Street.

Diverted routes will be signposted for drivers, which will take drivers through the town centre.
Works have been taking place on Oldham Way for much of this year, including maintenance work on bridges at Waterloo Street and Wellington Street.
The works initially began in February last year and Oldham Council said at the time the works were expected to finish in the late autumn.
