More than 40 different roadworks have been planned to go ahead this week and next.
According to official notices, roadworks include electricity, gas, broadband installation, IX Wireless installations, water, and more.
A total of eight road closures have been scheduled throughout the borough, for roadworks by Electricity North West, Cadent, O2, United Utilities, and Openreach.
A total of eight lane closures will be in place, due to United Utilities, Electricity North West, Oldham Council, Hutchison 3G, and Naitonal Highways works.
Temporary traffic lights have been scheduled for 19 different works across the borough, while roads will be narrowed to single file traffic for 18 different works.
