A teenager was among four injured in a crash in an Oldham village this morning.
At 11.41am, North West Ambulance Service said it responded to reports of a crash on Rochdale Road, at the junction of Ripponden Road in Denshaw.
Two fire engines, two ambulances and two police vehicles were all in attendance - which saw the road shut for three hours, with the police remaining on the scene for four.
A spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 11.41am to reports of an RTC on Rochdale Road, Oldham.
"We sent a rapid response ambulance and an ambulance to the scene.
"We treated four patients at the scene, one a teenage male. Of the four patients, two patients with minor injuries were taken to Royal Oldham Hospital."
Speaking of the aftermath of the crash earlier today, a nearby resident who wished to remain anoymous, said: "I live in Denshaw but didn’t witness the accident. I heard all the sirens.
"Fire crews are still trying to remove the truck and wagon from the wall. One other vehicle has just been removed. This could take a while."
While Greater Manchester Police's Saddleworth and Lees Neighbourhood Policing Team warned residents to "avoid the area as delays are to be expected".
