A driver who was allegedly taking up the middle lane on the motorway near Oldham was stopped and reported for careless driving.

The motorist of a car that was travelling on the M60 has been accused of "sitting in lane two" at 45mph while the first lane was empty.

Traffic officers of Greater Manchester Police saw the driver and described the middle lane hogging as "inconsiderate and careless and an example of the poor driving that some drivers seem oblivious to."
