Residents of an estate in Oldham are being urged to remain vigilant after two burglaries were reported overnight.
Greater Manchester Police shared via their Royton and Shaw Facebook page that the evening from Tuesday, April 9 into Wednesday, April 10, two burglaries were reported at addresses on the Thorp estate in Royton.
The estate, north of Royton town centre, is a popular area known for housing many families.

The post shared by police read: "Overnight there have been two burglaries reported on Thorp Estate Royton.
"Please remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity by ringing 101, only ring 999 if there is a crime in progress or threat to life.
"Remember to keep valuables locked away out of sight, and your property secure and alarmed.
"If any of our residents have CCTV that may assist police in catching the offenders please ring 101 and quote log ref 680 – 10042024."
