Oldham's motorists will have nine road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network in the next two weeks.
And eight of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M60, from 9pm on April 9 to 5am on Wednesday, April 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 both directions, junction 22 to junction 23 - lane closure for drainage on behalf of National Highways.
• M60, from 9pm on March 4 to 5am on May 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 both directions, junction 21 to junction 23 - carriageway closure for white lining/road markings on behalf of National Highways.
• A627(M), from 8pm on Monday, April 15 to 8pm on May 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A663 both directions A663 Broadway / Middleton Road to A627(M) - carriageway closure for construction improvement/upgrade.
And a further six closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A627(M), from 8pm on Thursday, April 18 to 6am on Friday, April 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A627M northbound, J1 to J2 - carriageway closure for communications.
• A627(M), from 9pm on Saturday, April 20 to 5am on Monday, April 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A663 both directions Middleton Rd to junction 1 A627M - carriageway closure for carriageway - reconstruction/renewal.
• M60, from 8pm on Monday, April 22 to 6am on Tuesday, April 23, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 both directions J20 to J3 - carriageway closure for signs - erection.
• A663, from 9pm on Monday, April 22 to 5am on Thursday, April 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A663 both directions Fire Station to Whitegate Lane - carriageway closure for horticulture (cutting and planting).
• A663, from 9pm on Thursday, April 25 to 5am on Friday, April 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A663 both directions Semple Way to Hollinwood Avenue - carriageway closure for horticulture (cutting and planting) on behalf of National Highways.
• A663, from 9pm on Friday, April 26 to 5am on Saturday, April 27, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A663 both directions Moston Lane East to Hollinwood Avenue - carriageway closure for horticulture (cutting and planting) on behalf of National Highways.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
