A man in his 40s died after he was hit by a vehicle on a main road in Ashton-under-Lyne.
The emergency services attended Stockport Road at around 11.55pm on Wednesday.
According to police a man in his 40s, a pedestrian, died after he was hit by a vehicle. Two men in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, one at the scene and one after handing himself in later.
Both men were bailed to allow for an investigation.
