Police are trying to track down this man after an armed robbery at a shop in Middleton.

The incident was at a shop in the area of Hollin Lane after 4pm on Monday (August 12).

Police said a man with a weapon thought to be a knife took around £200 from the premises. There are no injuries but the staff are said to be "shaken up".

There are no arrests and they are trying to track down this man after the armed robbery.

Detective Sergeant Harris, of GMP Rochdale, said: "We would appeal to anyone who recognises the man in these images, or who has any information, to get in touch with police immediately.

"We understand that the images are not of the best quality but we are hoping that by releasing them, it may jog memories of those who were in and around the area at the time of the incident."
