A two-car crash was a result of a chase after a suspected stolen car was spotted driving dangerously in Oldham.

The two-car crash was outside Moor Haven Care Home on Ripponden Road at around 12.30am on Saturday.

Today, Sunday, Greater Manchester Police said it was a result of a chase after a suspected stolen car was spotted driving dangerously more than a mile away on Roundthorn Road. The car was stopped with a stinger but another car was caught up in the crash.

All emergency services attended the scene but there were no serious injuries and two men, one in his 30s and one in his 50s, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving dangerously, failing to stop and the theft of a vehicle according to Greater Manchester Police.
