A TikTok account has labelled a PureGym in Oldham as "maybe the most depressing gym in the UK" following a visit to the facility.
The man behind the account @notorioussbd, or Pure Gym Guy, exclusively focuses his content on visiting PureGyms across the UK and delivering his thoughts before giving a rating.
Following a recent visit to the Oldham PureGym, based at Alexandra Retail Park, Pure Gym Guy delivered a scathing review of the site which he said he was visiting "for the first and last time".

The TikTok opens with Pure Gym Guy saying: "Guys, this might not be just the most depressing PureGym in the UK, but maybe the most depressing gym in the UK."
The majority of the video's criticism of the gym centres on the messiness, with the video showing weights and equipment scattered on the floor.
Pure Gym Guy says: "Think of this as PureGym purgatory - if you sent inmates here as a form of rehabilitation, getting them to clean the gym, you'd be accused of psychological malpractice."

He goes on to say "a landmine hit this squat rack, I've never seen anything like this" when filming one messy area of the gym, before adding "nothing would get me to clean this gym", suggesting he would rather quit a job working there than tidy up the mess.
Pure Gym Guy adds in the TikTok, viewed more than 154,000 times since it was posted in November, that at one point, he saw a youth sat at the staff desk vaping while on his phone as he waited for a friend to finish working out.

When delivering his rating, Pure Gym Guy gave the gym a five out of 10, saying it "should get a zero but I have some integrity in my body".
He rates the gym zero out of 10 for cleanliness, along with a four for atmosphere, a 6.5 for both equipment variety and size and an eight for layout.
When approached for comment, PureGym declined to respond.
