A man has been taken to hospital after he was reportedly stabbed and seen 'covered in blood' in Oldham.
The incident, which was attended by police, was witnessed by members of the public who shared details on social media.
One woman stated she had witnessed a man in a 'traumatic' incident.
She said that she saw a man in the road, 'covered in blood' and claimed he had been stabbed in the neck.
The nature of his injury has not been confirmed by police, although the force stated it is not thought to be life threatening.

The woman explained that she could not get him to hospital but rang for the police and an ambulance, and another woman stopped and took him to A&E.
The Oldham Times contacted Greater Manchester Police (GMP) for confirmation, and the force stated it had received reports of the incident and that one man had been taken to hospital.
GMP stated that the incident occurred at around 1pm on Fields New Road, and that the man's injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
