A new landlady has announced her takeover of a popular pub in Saddleworth, with hundreds of people wishing her luck in the venture.
The new management at the Three Crowns was announced on social media by its new landlady, Jodie Bennett.
Posting on Monday (March 2), Jodie shared little information, but said: "Hey guys, hoping for some help please!
"After a bit of a turbulent year or so in my career, I've taken the plunge and invested in myself... got myself my very own pub.
"Please could you like and share my page The Three Crowns-Saddleworth."
The pub was listed as needing new landlords on its brewery's website in September, and it is understood the previous owners left in January.
Jodie's post received more than 100 comments and was shared more than 250 times, with hundreds of people also commenting on the shared versions of the post.
Most of the comments wished Jodie well and good luck in the venture, with others sharing some tips as to what people in the area would like to see implemented at the venue.
The Oldham Times understands the new landlady had a previous role at The Old School BBQ bus, and one user commented and said: "A great move taking a well-established and admired venue on.

"The Three Crowns has stood the test of time, and we need more people like you to take venues on to keep the pub game alive.
"So many have been turned into HMOs.
"Not to mention, the Three Crowns has always been great for food too, it's not just a pub and with your experience from the BBQ Bus, you know what great burgers are too."
Another user spoke of her hopes for the pub to return to its past ways, when a previous landlord ran it.
She said: "Wishing you every success, Jodie Bennett.
"If I can give some advice in the hopes of making this successful for you, please channel how the Three Crowns was when Ray ran it.
"A proper, welcoming, traditional family pub.
"Speaking only for myself, but my family don’t want acts on, etcetera, we want a decently cooked, reasonably priced, varied menu that caters well for children and adults alike.
"Pensioners' lunchtime, discounted menus, attentive staff, and fires lit, obviously not in the height of summer, you know, the two-ish days we get a year.
"We eat out regularly and are a stone's throw from The Three Crowns, but sadly, since Ray's leaving, it’s never felt the same for us."
Jodie replied and said: "I promise you all, my intention is to bring the pub back to life, not as a live music venue, but a place where families can come and enjoy a nice meal, with background music, family fun days, and monthly events for the adults.
"I don't want to run a boozer, I want to run a community hub."
