A former pub and carvery is still for sale for almost £1 million after more than a year and a half.
The Fair View Inn, located on Broad Lane in Rochdale, has remained closed since March 2022.
The Oldham Times first reported on the sale advert in August 2024.
The current owner, who bought the property in 2018, closed the pub in April 2021 for major refurbishment work.
The revamp included new carpets, an upgraded bar, fresh PVC windows and doors, a refurbished ladies’ toilet, and improvements to the outdoor dining area.
Despite the investment, the venue reopened for only 30 days during the pandemic.
The property advertising company, Fleurets, revealed the owner 'didn't have the same enthusiasm' to keep trading and, due to other business interests, 'decided not to re-open'.

Before its full closure, the carvery could seat around 150 diners and featured a large bar area with views over Rochdale and the Pennines towards West Yorkshire.
More than a year and a half since it was first advertised by property agent Fleurets, the property remains for sale.
Fleurets believe the space could lend itself to 'a variety of alternative uses,' subject to planning permission.
The listing describes the building as a 'substantial detached property' set on a site of 2,540 acres, with stone elevations over two storeys and several pitched slate roofs.
The ground floor is divided into a carvery section with a display area and a traditional bar.
The dining area leads to a first floor described as 'conservatory in style', which can accommodate up to 250 people.
Facilities include male, female, and disabled toilets, along with a beer store.
The commercial kitchen is finished in stainless steel and features a walk-in fridge.
There is private accommodation on the first floor, including a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and four bedrooms.
Additional staff quarters are also available, comprising a staff room, office, and en-suite bathroom.
Externally, the property offers parking for up to 90 vehicles, a children’s play area, and outdoor seating for up to 100 diners.
The former owner had also converted the garage into an outdoor bar to serve customers seated outside.
It is being advertised for £950,000 plus VAT.
