Salford Quayside launches packed May events programme

Salford’s Quayside is the place to be this month, offering everything from yoga to discos and family raves.

The waterside shopping and leisure destination has launched a programme of food events and activities for all ages throughout May.

One of the centre’s highlights is Kargo MKT, a social and cultural hub where visitors can enjoy weekly yoga sessions, creative workshops, and live entertainment.

A Paint and Sip night with Paintvine takes place on Friday, May 9, offering a relaxed evening combining creativity and refreshments.

Little ones are in for a treat on Saturday, May 10 with a free mini disco hosted by the Princess with the Red Rose.

The calendar also includes another Paint and Sip evening on Friday, May 23.

On Saturday, May 24 families can dance the night away at the K-Pop Demon Hunters Silent Disco.

Children can enjoy the interactive Louby Lou Show on Wednesday, May 28.

On Saturday, May 31 there are more activities to close out the month including free Kids Eid Crafts and a high-energy Boomchikaboom! Family Rave.

Parents looking to keep children entertained throughout the school break can make the most of special offers at Oxygen Activeplay.

The Play Together Ticket gives four 60-minute open play sessions for the price of three, ideal for group outings.

A May Half Term Pass is available from May 23 to June 1, including five 60-minute sessions for £30.

Families can also take advantage of the afternoon pass, which includes 90 minutes of open play, a child’s meal, and a drink from 4pm during half-term.

For those who fancy a taste of the outdoors, Brewski’s Big Tray BBQ is bringing midweek flavour to Quayside with a new £9.95 lunch menu running Monday through Friday.

The offer features loaded mac, fries or tabbouleh, and a choice of protein.

Their weekday happy hour from 12pm to 6pm includes £6 spritz and £4.50 house lager.

TeeClub is also running special promotions throughout May for families and remote workers alike.

Guests can enjoy a buy one, get one free coffee offer.

During half term from May 22 to June 1, kids go free, and there’s a buy one, get one half price deal on pizzas.

Their Tee Off Tonight social night takes place on May 28 from 6.30pm to 8pm.

Backed by England Golf, the event offers relaxed, social play in a fun environment.

Tickets are £12 per person and include an arrival drink.
